One of my favorite sushi places. Always 50 percent off on sushi and 30 percent off on Hibachi. Very good sushi and very friendly staff. I also love their hot and sour soup and terrayaki salYou can have a nice night out dining without getting ripped off.
Went to Oyako Tso for a friend's hibachi birthday celebration. Awesome service and the hibachi man put on a great show! Interior was cosy and prices reasonable (big portions). I had salmon hibachi and it was delicious. I liked that they cook with butter.
Oyako is my favorite place to get hibachi in the area. We came here during the week and we each got a hibachi entree. The show was super fun to watch, the portions were massive and we all had leftovers! The only thing is if you go with a smaller group, you will need to wait for another group to also get hibachi in order to fill up the seats around the grill, otherwise you can just order hibachi to a regular table without the show.
My family came here for the hibachi lunch. It exceeded our expectations! The show was entertaining and kid friendly. The food was fresh with HUGE portions! Even the kids' orders were HUGE portions! The customer service was attentive and the space is very clean. We were so busy enjoying the food and the entertainment that we forgot to take any pictures. I highly recommend the scallops (again big in size.. not the small skimpy baby scallops), shrimp, filet mignon, fried rice, and lo mein. The sushi and sashimi is also very fresh! The green tea ice cream is very authentic and you can truly taste the deep green tea flavor! I highly recommend Oyako Tso's Sushi and Hibachi Steakhouse! It is a great place for any group size!
Food was AMAZING ! I had the chicken Pad Keemao, Gyoza and wings. Wings were not as crunchy as I'd like but were still delicious. Gyoza was cooked very well. The chicken Pad Keemao was so good (I don't eat leftovers) but these I took with me and ate them cold a few hours later. Soooo good! Servers could have been nicer and not rushed us. But the food made up for it. A must try!
Absolutely delicious! Visited here with my husband and we were so happy to find a great sushi spot so close to where we live. Great portions, quality & amazing prices. Super kind waiter as well even though they were super busy Saturday night. Will happily be returning!

Been coming here for years. The prices are unbeatable. $3 for a sushi roll is unheard of! The fish is always fresh, the rolls are always good and filled. The waiters have changed a lot but they've always been good and fast. It's a nice restaraunt, and the hibachi area is nice for parties or holidays. Best place in the Freehold area.
This is a great date spot for affordable and decent sushi and hibachi. Despite being an affordable sushi restaurant, the quality of the was pretty good but the atmosphere could use some updating. We made a reservation and despite a long line to get in, we were quickly seated. There's a 2012/2013 Zagat sticker on the door - a sign that this place may be past its prime. The dining room floor had a stickiness that reminded me of a college fraternity party. Note: this place is BYOB. The restaurant is pretty loud and packed but the prices are great. The hibachi and sushi are advertised as 50% off. I think the restaurant should drop the gimmick and just update the menus to reflect the lower prices. The menu offered a wide range of sushi options, including vegetarian options. The sushi itself was beautifully presented, and the taste was pretty good. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were balanced. We ordered fried pork gyoza and a Twitter Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Eel Avocado Roll, and Salmon Avocado Roll. Even though it sounds like a lot of food, we were still a little hungry after the meal. The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it accessible to a wider range of customers. Overall, I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fun night of hibachi or to try some sushi without breaking the bank.
FREEHOLD: Downtown Freehold is a beautiful city to walk around and then have a meal at Oyako Tso's! An Asian restaurant with sushi, hibachi, and traditional Japanese entrees, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. A special menu of half price sushi is also available! BYOB. The outdoor tables overlook bustling Main Street, so it can be a bit noisy. We love having places to take Brie for a good meal!
